Scotland has its own far-right problem and it needs its own anti-fascist infrastructure. We need someone on the ground who knows the terrain and isn't waiting for someone else to sort it.
This isn't a title. It's work. Here's what we'll expect from you.
Plan and lead demos, counter-protests, and direct actions in your area. You won't be doing it alone the national team is there but you're the one who knows your city.
Bring people in properly. Not just likes and follows real people who'll turn up, do the work, and have each other's backs.
Post consistently. Cover your actions. Keep people informed. Your account is the face of the branch it matters.
Regular calls with leads from other cities. Monthly updates back to the national team. We look after our people, but we need to know what's happening on the ground.
We vet everyone. No exceptions. It's not personal it's how we keep people safe, including you.
Answer every question properly. One-line answers tell us nothing and won't get through. Write like you mean it.
We read it, we do a basic check, and we make a decision. That takes one to two weeks. We'll email you back either way yes or no.
If we want to move forward, we'll get on a call. It's not an interrogation we just want to talk to you before we bring you in.

Running a branch isn't for everyone but that doesn't mean there's nothing for you here. We need people with specific skills supporting branches and the national team behind the scenes. Tell us what you can do and we'll find a use for it.
OSINT research, digital security, website work, data investigations, secure comms setup, doxing defence. If you're technical and politically switched on, we need you.
Investigative writing, on-the-ground reporting, editing, copy for the socials, press releases. We publish, and we need people who can write without getting us sued.
Event planning, stewarding, legal observer coordination, getting bodies to the right place at the right time. The unglamorous stuff that makes actions actually work.
Documenting actions, shooting for the socials, editing footage. Visual evidence matters both for the movement and against the fascists.
Know your rights training, legal observer work, arrest support, contacts in legal aid or criminal defence. Protests go wrong. We need people who know what to do when they do.
Flyers, banners, social graphics, merch, placards. Good design gets people to show up. Bad design doesn't. We'd rather have good design.
Reaching communities that don't operate in English. Translating materials, interpreting at meetings, building links with non-English speaking activist networks.
Scheduling, growing accounts, understanding what lands and what doesn't, reacting fast to news. Not the same as running an Instagram this is the strategy behind it.
